The thickness of the edges of the lens is reduced compared to its central part – for this reason, wearing such lenses is much more comfortable than conventional lenses. The asymmetrical shape of the edges minimizes contact between lenses and eyelids during blinking.
Hilafilcon B – the polymer from which SOFLENS 59 is made, perfectly permeates oxygen and resists protein deposits well. SofLens 59 contact lenses are almost imperceptible to the eyes and are easy to use thanks to their light tinting.
